Manning Regional Healthcare Center is proud to announce that Jackie Blackwell, BSN, RN, Director of Quality, Patient Safety, Risk Manager, and Patient Advocacy at MRHC, was recently certified by the National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) as a Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality, CPHQ.

“I’m always excited to further my education in the healthcare field. This opportunity has allowed me to expand upon my knowledge and expertise,” Blackwell said.

Blackwell has been with Manning Regional for 10 years and her role consists of risk management and ensuring a quality and safe experience for patients. She prides herself on the quality of care she and her coworkers give patients daily at MRHC.

“I enjoy working at MRHC because of the culture at our facility. Our staff truly care about the patients and the type of experience they have at our hospital. We have a great team who work well together,” Blackwell said.

The CPHQ credential signifies professional and academic achievement by individuals in the field of healthcare quality management. The comprehensive body of knowledge includes quality management, quality improvement, case/care/disease/utilization management, and risk management at all employment levels and in all healthcare settings.
